Evolve Your Practice
Movement and breathwork has always been at the heart of my life. I began as a contemporary dancer and choral singer from a young age and through both disciplines I developed a deep appreciation for the strength, community, and awareness that movement and breathwork can cultivate. I found yoga at eighteen, and after more than a decade of practice, I became a teacher to share the vitality and connection it has brought to my life. Yoga for me goes beyond the physical pracitce. Yoga is a philosophy of thought that encourages practioneres to harness the fluctuations of the mind and prepare the body for stillness; the sanctuary that exists within us all. My teaching is centred around helping students uncover their untapped strength, both in challenging the body and mind. Through breathwork and somatic movement, I create spaces where people can step away from the noise of daily life and reconnect with themselves. I am deeply passionate about nourishing students practice and helping them grow in a safe non-judgemental place where they will be encouraged to play and learn more about themselves and their bodies. It is very important to me to make my classes accessible to all. My teaching will always encourage students to let go of performance and focus on presence. Yoga with Stephanie not only creates spaces for teaching but also places for community to grow. All of my teaching is inspired by the the Bhagavad Gita and the principle of practice over outcome. My classes will always be informed by yogic philosophy in hope to inform students of not just the physical postures but also the original spiritiual teachings of yoga. Finally, my love of being a teacher is founded on my love of meeting new people. Meeting students, from early stage to advanced practioners, and helping them on their yoga journey is the biggest joy yoga teaching has given me. I hope you choose to join me on your journey, meeting on the mat, and begin to evolve your practice with presence.
Meet Yoga with Stephanie
Starting from the 13th October 2026, my weekly classes will be held on Tuesdays at 6PM at the East Oxford Community Centre!
Every week we will make space to cultivate movement, build community, and quieten the mind. I am so excited to build a local community through movement, breath, and meditation.
Please note, limited mats are available in the space so students are encouraged to bring their own mat if possible.
Can’t wait to join you on your yoga journey!
